Good to hear you are now able to connect JIRA to Jenkins.
I'll close this issue now, but if you need additional support, then please feel free to open a new one.

Hi Mark,
thanks for the clarification. Finally I tried also the same url but got this error:
Looked up the error logs from JIRA. It was a problem with the SSL certification.
The connection is working now.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
That is indeed the docs. But it has been moved to https://docs.marvelution.org/display/JJI/Manage+Sites
The correct URL is just the URL you use to access Jenkins. Jenkins dies not know if any difference between display and RPC URLs. But this plugin allows you to configure an different URL for synchronization and for use in UIs.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,
I thought something like that. But searched also here: https://marvelution.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JJI/Manage+Sites
Cannot find any hint howto find the correct url on Jenkins side.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
That is the RPC URL of Jenkins not JIRA
This is to support running connecting to Jenkins using one URL and show a different URL to users.
Please refer to the configuration documentation on our wiki.
Cheers,
Mark

I installed the "Jenkins Integration for JIRA" plugin on my JIRA server instance.
I can find the "Jenkins Configuration" under Administration > Application. Now I want to create a new site by using "Add Site".
Problem:
As you can see in the attachment (screenshot) it shows me a field for "RPC URL". But since JIRA 7 this api is deprecated. Because this is a required field I cannot finish the configuration.
