CI builds never updated - Plugin version 2.1.2

Description

I have the "Jira plugin for Jenkins" and "Jenkins Plug in for Jira" both installed and of the same version 2.1.2, in Jira the "CI build" tab exists, but it is never updated with any build, although I make sure that the commit comment contains the Jira ticket key.

Is it about the plugin version 2.1.2 or there something could be missing in the Jenkins script?

 

Also I see this error in Jira logs:
unable to register build notifier.

Hi John,

The logs you added contains no information as to why the integration is not working.
This complete absence of logging makes me wonder if the integration is setup and enabled correctly.

Can you verify that the add-ons are installed and enabled, and that the Jira add-on contains at least one Jenkins Site?

Hi,

That error message my indicate that Jenkins cannot connect to Jira or visa versa.
Can you attach the logs of Jenkins and Jira?
