Would this mean I no longer have to explicitly disable the hourly synchronization job in Jira (mentioned in this comment against ) by adding the following switch to the JVM arguments :
Fixed
Pinned fields
Click on the next to a field label to start pinning.

The hourly synchronication job should exclude Jenkins site that has the Jenkins add-on installed. These site are expected to use the build notification trigger instead.
