Deleting a very large site is not working as expected.

Description

Deleting a site has the usual “we are working on it” notification but if the site has loads of data it seems to get stuck somewhere. and the site ends up not being deleted.

We should je add a field (timestamp) to indicate the site is marked for deletion, and then handle deleting this data in the backend
